INTERVIEW WITH VIVLO

Present for more than twenty years in industrial water treatment, Vivlo designs and manufactures several types of technologies, in order to offer the best waste water treatment solution. Their main objective is to reduce volumes of liquid waste and destruction costs.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

VIVLO: Vivlo designs and markets any process or residual liquid treatment equipment of industrial activity for the treatment of waste water treatment.

To meet the needs of our customers, we have a research office, of a laboratory, of production units as well as a team composed of process engineers, thermodynamicians, chemists and of environmental technicians.

E.E: What’s the news about new products?

VIVLO: Recently, we created a hybrid machine can work either with thermal energy, either electric, or both. The interest of this configuration is that you can do energy recovery on an industrial site. We’re going to put energy reuse in place on the factory and power our machine with this free energy. This allows to significantly reduce energy consumption costs. If this energy is not enough, this is where we will take over with the electrical system.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

VIVLO: We offer a range of innovative water treatment technologies that can be implemented, independently or in combination, such as :

  • Evaporation
  • Physico-chemical plant
  • Biological treatment
  • Membrane (Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration, etc.)
  • Ion exchange resins
  • Activated carbon
  • Solvent distillation
  • Oil removal.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

VIVLO: The thermal processes of evaporation and evapo-concentration today are the most popular and efficient to allow industrialists to discharge their water and have their waste removed at lower cost.

Indeed, the vacuum evaporation makes it possible to extract water from a waste to create a perfect vacuum. Concretely, we evaporate water at very low temperatures, between 35 and 40 degrees. The interest of working in these conditions is that we’re not going to affect rheology, the transformation of waste water.

That is the advantage of this technology that we are putting in place and that we master perfectly.

This technology is highly appreciated as it allows important performance.

E.E: What estimations do you have for the rest of 2022?

VIVLO: A very intensive year after Covid period.
