fischertechnik is a toy manufacturer in Waldachtal, northern Black Forest. The company produces various, educationally valuable, construction kits for different age groups. The assortment is divided into five series: JUNIOR, ADVANCED, PROFI and ROBOTICS.
In addition to the toy range, the products are also available for industry, education and schools. The so-called education assortment and training models are developed together with teachers and educators to meet the needs of the students.
The construction kits are manufactured in Germany, but they are active worldwide. fischertechnik GmbH is a business division of the fischer group.

E.E: What’s the news for 2021 about new products?
FISCHERTECHNIK: 2021 launched many new fischertechnik novelties on the market with a new packaging design. The new construction kits address forward-looking topics such as regenerative energies and robotics.
PROFI Strong Pneumatics is the new pneumatics kit for children aged 9 and up. It shows children the basics of pneumatics using six different models. Also new is the “PROFI Green Energy Construction Kit”, which uses 14 models to teach children about the generation, storage and use of renewable electricity.
With the PROFI H2 Fuel Cell Car, children can playfully learn how a fuel cell works and also how hydrogen-generated energy can be used.
With four models, the “PROFI Solar Power” construction kit presents the increasingly important energies of the future.
Lastly, we have Retro Mechanics, which has cool models all about mechanics and statics in a retro design.
There are also some new products in the Education range. For example, the Optics class set, which allows students to explore optical phenomena such as penumbra and umbra or to experiment with light. The Solar Energy Class Set is also new, and is the perfect introduction to the world of renewable energies.
In the robotics sector, fischertechnik shines this year with the new TXT 4.0 controller. It is not only flatter and more compact, but also has significantly more memory capacity than the previous model.
In addition, this year will see the launch of a Bio Construction Kit, which consists of recyclable packaging and building blocks made from renewable raw materials.

FISCHERTECHNIK: fischertechnik works in the product area of toys. We have five different product lines: JUNIOR, ADVANCED, PROFI, and ROBOTICS. Here, different building sets are given in each case for different age groups.
In addition, we produce items that are also used for learning. For example, the Learning Factories 4.0, which are digitalized training – and simulation models for Industry 4.0. Here, there are also different versions, such as a simulation that shows applications and process flows or a vacuum suction pad that presents the safe and precise transport of workpieces in a simulation.
Another product area is the fischertechnik education line for schools, which are adapted to different age groups. Here, also, new products have been launched on the market in March 2021. For example, the Class Set Gears, which uses 12 exciting experiments for the classroom to explain how a bevel gear or even a belt gear works.

FISCHERTECHNIK: The most innovative product marketed is the new Omniwheel Roboter. The H2 Fuel Cell Car construction kit is also one of fischertechnik’s most innovative products.
