JUNGHEINRICH AT BAUMA 2019

With an extensive product portfolio and numerous solutions for the construction industry, Jungheinrich will be exhibiting at the “32nd International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment” in Munich from April 8 to 14, 2019. This year, Jungheinrich’s presence at the fair (Stand FS.908A) will focus on lithium-ion-powered trucks. Jungheinrich will be presenting its new EFG 6 Series of electric counterbalance trucks, the ERC 216zi electric stacker truck and the energy-efficient ETV Q20/Q25 multi-directional reach truck.

EFG 6 series

The EFG 6 Series is especially designed for powerful performance applications in beverage and building material wholesaling or in mechanical engineering. With a load capacity of up to 9 tonnes and a load centre of 900 mm, Jungheinrich will now be offering one of the most powerful electric forklift trucks in the intralogistics market. The EFG 6 Series is available with both superior lithium-ion technology and proven lead-acid battery technology. Thanks to the sophisticated drive concept with two asynchronous drive motors and two synchronous reluctance lift motors, the EFG Series 6 delivers maximum power at minimum consumption.

ERC 216zi

Thanks to the integrated lithium-ion battery, the forklift truck is particularly compact and agile. Instead of the battery tray behind the mast that was previously standard on these types of forklift trucks, the energy storage unit of the ERC 216zi is installed centrally in the truck. With an L2 dimension of 1245 mm, the ERC 216zi is at least 170 mm shorter than comparable vehicles and by far the most compact electric stacker truck on the market. Thanks to its compactness, the ERC 216zi sets a new benchmark in manoeuvrability. The new mast with FG profiles provides the ERC 216zi with a higher residual capacity of at least 100 kg. The new mast entry cushioning also ensures sleek mast transitions.

ETV Q20/Q25

With its new ETV Q20/Q25 for loads up to 2.5 t and lifting heights up to 10.7 m, Jungheinrich presents new possibilities for warehouse efficiency at bauma 2019. With a total of five steering modes, the new multi-way reach truck can also be driven in any desired direction, even by inexperienced drivers. Three steering-support wheels ensure rapid directional change and a minimal turning radius. This means that bulky loads up to 12 m in length can also be transported sideways in narrow warehouse aisles, stored in high racks and manoeuvred without collision while loading lorries. In addition to benefiting from a more efficient material flow, the customer profits from the low energy consumption as well as the maintenance-free electrical brakes on all three wheels.
