Range of technologies Belinus use during the manufacturing process:

Ultra black cell technology: Belinus offers the Ultra-Black Solar Cells Technology, which is designed to improve the efficiency of solar modules. The Ultra-Black Solar Cells Technology utilizes a specialized material that absorbs more than 99% of incoming light. This material is used in the production of solar cells, which are then integrated into Belinus’s solar panels. By using this technology, Belinus is able to achieve a higher level of energy efficiency, reducing solar heat gain and providing greater control over light and temperature.

IBC technology: The unique IBC technology allows the solar panels to achieve a high efficiency of no less than 21.6%, which is a significant improvement over traditional solar panel. The ultra-black design of the panel also provides an elegant appearance and status on your roof.

IBC technology moves all front contact grids to the back of the panel, which reduces shading at the front of the cell, leading to higher efficiency. IBC cells also have a lower series resistance due to larger back contacts, allowing for easier connection and placement of the cells closer together in the module. The optical and electrical optimization is independent of each other in IBC cells, which means that the panel’s appearance can be improved while maintaining high efficiency.

HJT technology: HJT technology offers high cell and panel efficiency, low temperature coefficient and annual degradation rate, and no LID & PID effects. HJT solar panels are composed of three layers of photovoltaic material, with the combination of the two technologies. This makes it different from the standard (PERC and N-Type) crystalline solar cells that are homogeneous devices, where the p-type and n-type semiconductor layers are formed on the same base material. HJT solar panels have several advantages, including bifaciality, n-type technology, low degradation, and double-glazing technology.

Shingled design: The Shingled Module technology involves a construction technique where solar cells are arranged in overlapping shingles, rather than the traditional flat array. This reduces the area of non-active space between cells, which in turn reduces electrical losses and improves energy conversion efficiency.

Shingled modules are the maximum power and efficiency you can get with traditional, undoped crystalline silicon, without dual-junction processes like heterojunction technology, which combines crystalline silicon with amorphous silicon thin-film to produce a high-power hybrid cell.
