Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?
Roberta Crivellaro: You may find our products in locations with public toilets: they are engineered based on their specific applications.
Spaces open to the public are everywhere, in all cities of the world: school stations, airports, shopping centres, offices.
Places with the daily passage of big flows of people that require functional bathrooms capable of guaranteeing high levels of hygiene.
MCM Rubinetterie believes in a Less and Better philosophy.
In our solutions we constantly try to simplify, reduce and optimize: less, in fact, is better when applied to design, environment and safety.
E.E: What’s the news about new products?
R.C: This year at ISH in Frankfurt, we are going to show our contactless electronic taps available in a wide range of finishes: mat black/white powder coating, galvanic brushed nickel, brushed or polished gunmetal, PVD in gold, copper or grey, all obtained by different techniques.
PVD
- It is extremely durable, scratch-resistant, hygienic and environmentally friendly.
- PVD does not suffer from saline environments and is also resistant to UV rays

- POWDER COATING
The coating process is obtained through the deposition of powder on the surface of the tap.
It is a finish with excellent resistance to environmental influences and easy cleaning, good corrosion resistance and excellent colour uniformity.

Galvanic application is common to many taps, even the cheapest.
These metal coatings give the product a higher resistance to corrosion and also give a better aesthetic appearance. Basically, it is applied a kind of waterproof layer that maintains the brightness of the finish and the product.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?
R.C: There is more interest for contactless taps/devices and higher awarness regard the water consumption and costs saving.
E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?
R.C: There is a continuous gradual growth of specific needs for limitation to access public water and it better utilization.
E.E: What are the most innovative products marketed?
R.C: The pandemic situation of the past years, has increasingly emphasized the need to reduce the possibility of contagion through contact with the surface of the products and how the water flow control has a positive impact on the environment.
I believe that the innovation is the constant research of eco-friendly products.
E.E: What estimations do you have for 2023?
R.C: Our goals remain to serve better our customers and expand our commercial cooperation with Companies interested in trading products dedicated to water saving solutions.
