Interview with Rafael Cosquiere, Marketing manager & Managing Partners at BECOSAN.

Easy Engineering: What are the main areas of activity of the company?

Rafael Cosquiere: BECOSAN’s areas of activity focus on large industrial warehouses where the floor is exposed to intensive use. What’s the news about new products?

The main innovation of BECOSAN is its treatment for concrete floors, which combines a mechanical polishing of the floor with the addition of environmentally friendly chemicals, resulting in a new floor finish: durable, easy to clean and maintain and valid for industrial activities with high use of the floor.

E.E: What are the ranges of products?

R.C: Its services include:

  • BECOSAN treatment for concrete polishing.
  • Repair of cracks and fissures in floors.
  • Repair of expansion joints.
  • Repair of potholes and concrete patches.
  • Removal of paint or epoxy coating.
  • Repair and sealing of holes and anchors.
  • Total renovation of industrial floors.

E.E: At what stage is the market where you are currently active?

R.C: Although there are currently some similar treatments, BECOSAN remains the first of them, adapting to each type of floor and to the needs of the client.

BECOSAN adds value to large industrial building owners, acting internationally with unified solutions, avoiding the need to resort to small local companies.

E.E: What can you tell us about market trends?

R.C: BECOSAN’s main focus is on logistics and large-scale floors, and this market segment is expected to continue to grow due to the high demand for e-commerce and the increasing focus on the Logistics Real Estate sector.

In case of a slight economic downturn, new industrial floors will cease to be built, but existing floors will require upgrading, maintenance and repairs, where BECOSAN will be happy to help.

E.E: What estimations do you have for 2022?

R.C: BECOSAN’s forecast for 2022 focuses on continued organic growth and territorial expansion in Germany and France.
